Carol Ann (Blythe) Rush, age 69 of Rush Valley Drive, Thornton, WV passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Grafton City Hospital.
She was born November 2, 1948 in Newark,OH a daughter of the late John henry and WillaMae (Stidham) Blythe.

She was married to the late Earl Lester Rush who passed away December 4, 2009.

She is survived by five children, Earl L. Rush, Jr. and wife Barbara, of Thornton, Linda Louise Rush also of Thornton, John Rush and wife Alicia, of Newport, OH, Ernie Rush and wife Amber, of Thornton, and Wesley Rush and wife Heather, also of Thornton; ten grandchildren, Elisha and Shelby Rush, Savannah and Brandon Cutsumbis, Lainie, Kasey, Emmalyn Rush, Ashton and Nevaeh Rush, and Braxton Rush; one sister, Kim Ayers and husband Lewis, of Buckeye Lake, OH; one nephew, John W. “Billy” Jenkins of Somerset, OH; and one niece, Moneatha Sanchez also of Buckeye Lake, OH.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Blythe and Donna Blythe.

Carol retired from the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH as a housekeeper after 25 years of service.

She enjoyed her family, going out to eat, and sitting on her porch.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Sunday, March 18th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 19, 2018.
At 1:00 p.m. Monday, she will be taken to the family farm that she loved for a graveside service.
