Robert D. Woodruff, Jr., age 86, of Blueville Drive, Grafton, WV went to meet the Lord Tuesday, August 16, 2016.
He was born August 18, 1930 in Topeka, Kansas a son of the late Robert Darwin Woodruff, Sr. and Helen Elizabeth (Bennett) Woodruff.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 yrs., Wilma Lee (Clevenger) Woodruff; seven children, Robert D. Woodruff III and wife, Sam of Michigan, Donnie Ray Woodruff and wife, Ann of Bunker Hill, WV, Ronnie Thomas Woodruff and wife, Teresa also of Bunker Hill, and Roberta Jean Martin of West Union, WV; Donald Gene Clevenger and wife, Eileen of Bedford, OH, Roger Lee Clevenger of Grafton, and Maxine Burns and husband, Ronald also of Grafton; a very special niece, Sharon Sahli, of Newton Falls, OH; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; one sister, Marian Pratt and husband, Ray of Clarksville, TN; and son-in-law, Roger Lee Wilson of Grafton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, John Gilbert Woodruff; two daughters, Karen Sue Pettito and Sandra Lee Wilson; one daughter-in-law, Patricia Ann Clevenger; and three sisters and one brother.

Robert worked for the WV Dept. of Highways as a heavy equipment operator.
He formerly drove a stock car.
He was a member of the First Christian Church in Grafton.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Thursday, August 18th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Friday.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Hanlin Officiating.
Interment will follow at the Woodsdale Memorial Park Cemetery in Grafton.
