Obituary for James Lee Tingler

James Lee Tingler age 87 of Haymond Road passed away Saturday November 12, 2016 at the Mo n
General Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
He was born in Grafton, September 18, 1929 the son of Lawrence Waverly and Vesta Fay (Simmons) Tingler

He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years Karen Sue (Stewart) Tingler. One step son Donald Lee Wiseman II and wife Vicki Wiseman of Flemington, two brothers Lawrence (Junie) Tingler and companion Luann Newlon of Grafton, WV, Richard Dale Tingler and wife Mary of Martinsburg, WV.
Also four step grandchildren Justin Lee Knotts, Jarred Alan Knotts, Luke Jordan Wiseman and Jesse Juel Wiseman.

James graduated from Grafton High School with the class of 1947. Served in the US Air Force and US Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was a Rural Postal Carrier in Thornton with over 30 years of service.
Jim attended the Baptist Church on Route 250.

In addition to his parents , he was preceded in death by one sister Irma Jean Defendbaugh, one brother, Carroll L Tingler Sr, and wife Ellen, one step daughter, Donna Sue Knotts.

Visitation will be Wednesday November 16, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home
Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Edward Wood officiating.
Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery in Pruntytown.
Military graveside services will be conducted by the Taylor County Honor Guard and the Army National Guard of Kingwood.
