Obituary for Anna Elizabeth Jones (Girod)
Anna E. (Girod) Jones, age 88 of Nichols Road (Meadland Community) Bridgeport, WV passed away Thursday, December 08, 2016 at the Meadowview Manor in Bridgeport.
She was born June 10, 1928 in Boothsville, WV a daughter of the late George E. and Sylvia L. (Keener) Girod.
She is survived by four children, Karen Temple, Adrian G. Jones and companion, Pamela Stout, and Gerald D. Jones and wife, Janalynn, all of Meadland Community; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Martha Withers of Boothsville and Fanna Shaver of Clinton, AR ; and one son-in-law, Edwin Snively of Meadland.
The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Monday, December 12th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Tuesday.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Duane Keener officiating.
Interment will follow at the Harmony Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to the CJD Foundation P.O. Box 5312
